Have fun.
Stay in shape.
Enjoy Life.

Join the Oak Park Runners Club (OPRC). No prior running experience required. The club is one of the oldest and most active runners' organizations in the Chicago area. Our members are a diverse group: young and not so young, fast and not so fast, recreational runners and competitive racers, joggers and marathoners. However, we share a common enthusiasm for running that's contagious. Our enthusiasm, and the camaraderie you'll find as an OPRC member, will help make your running more fun and rewarding. Club activities and member benefits are designed to appeal to the runner in you, no matter what kind of runner that is.

The Race That's Good For Life
Widely recognized as one of the best and fastest 5Ks in Illinois, OPRC's Race That's Good For Life in April annually draws more than 1000 competitors. Although we receive considerable support from several major sponsors, club members are solely responsible for planning and conducting the race. Serving on the race committee offers members an excellent opportunity to play key roles in this prestigious race while getting better acquainted with other club members.
